Statistics for Applicants from Canadian Schools and Programs in Canada

Compared to the 2020 APPIC Match, the number of registered applicants from Canadian schools increased by 14 (7%) to 208 applicants, while the number of internship positions in Canada decreased by 4 (2%) to 190 positions.
A total of 161 applicants from Canadian schools were matched to an internship position in Phase I, while 36 applicants were not matched and another 11 withdrew or did not submit a Rank Order List. A total of 23 positions in Canada remained unfilled from Phase I.
