2023 APPIC Match - Phase I
Statistics for Applicants from Canadian Schools and Programs in Canada

We are pleased to report that 164 applicants from Canadian schools were matched to an internship position in Phase I of the 2023 APPIC Match.
Compared to the 2022 APPIC Match, the number of registered applicants from Canadian schools decreased by 12 (6%) to 197 applicants, while the number of internship positions in Canada decreased by five (2%) to 201 positions.
A total of 24 applicants who submitted Rank Order Lists were not matched to an internship position in Phase I, while an additional 9 applicants withdrew or did not submit a Rank Order List. A total of 41 positions in Canada remained unfilled from Phase I.
