2025 APPIC Match - Phase I
Statistics for Applicants from Canadian Schools and Programs in Canada

We are pleased to report that 143 applicants from Canadian schools were matched to an internship position in Phase I of the 2025 APPIC Match.
Compared to the 2024 APPIC Match, the number of registered applicants from Canadian schools decreased by 35 (-18%) to 162, while the number of internship positions in Canada increased by seven (+3%) to 213.
A total of 11 applicants who submitted Rank Order Lists were not matched to an internship position in Phase I, while an additional 8 applicants withdrew or did not submit a Rank Order List. A total of 62 positions in Canada remained unfilled from Phase I.
