1 Year Postdoc Fellowship-Trauma and Women's Health Private Practice Chicago Loop

Description: Cira Center for Behavioral Health, PC (CCBH), a small, but rapidly growing group practice, with locations in Oak Park and Chicago, is looking to hire a full time Clinical Psychology Postdoctoral Fellow for our Chicago Loop office. The Fellow’s primary responsibilities will be in conducting intake assessments and providing individual, couple, family, and group psychotherapy. We are seeking highly motivated, self­-starters who have a special interest and/or expertise in women’s issues/health and trauma (single incident, developmental/relational, etc).

Requirements: ● Graduated with doctorate in psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) ● Malpractice insurance (or willing to obtain by start date) ● Patience and willingness to grow a practice ● Willing to work a minimum of 3 evenings OR 2 evenings and a Saturday ● Interest in women’s health/issues and trauma work Ideal Candidates will have: ● A speciality/significant experience in women’s issues and trauma (infertility, unhealthy/abusive relationships, post­partum issues, etc). ● Be certified and trained in a trauma skill set (EMDR, prolonged exposure, TF­CBT, etc)
