Baker Neuropsychology specializes in conducting neuropsychological, psychoeducational, and psychological evaluations of children, adolescents, and adults. Our office shares office space with another neuropsychology practice, which results in a very collegial training environment. Postdoctoral residents have the opportunity to learn to use qEEG/brain mapping (which is involved in most neuropsychological evaluations), and see a limited number of clients for psychotherapy (yet this is not required). The clinic has three neuropsychologists, two master's level psychotherapists, and seven doctoral practicum students. Residents learn to perform in-depth differential diagnostic interviews, develop extensive and carefully tailored recommendations, and share these with clients and parents. Residents are expected to work from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (weekdays only, no weekend hours).

Postdoctoral residents spend approximately 60% of the time performing assessments, 20% of the time on report-writing, 10% of the time on supervision and training, 5% of the time supervising doctoral graduate students, and 5% of the time on research. Optional time is available for treatment (neurofeedback and/or psychotherapy), if desired by the resident.

This site offers individual and group supervision, as well as case conferences.
