PCS is a forensic private practice that specializes in assessment and treatment of court involved adults and adolescents with problematic sexual and other harmful behavior. We also work with juveniles and children with sexual behavior problems, male sex offenders, female sex offenders, and individuals wanting to be support persons for sex offenders on probation. We are a small private practice with an emphasis on collaboration and consultation. Our team of providers is very important to us. Residents work a 40-hour week but with some flexibility in how that is scheduled. Evening groups are possible on some nights, ending no later than 7pm. No work on weekends.
At PCS, we specialize in treating and assessing those engaged in harmful behaviors. Residents spend more than half of their time directly providing services to clients, including intake interviews, group therapy, evaluations, and individual therapy. Other time is spent report writing and in support activities, such as charting group notes. We screen and evaluate those involved in the civil commitment process for sexually violent persons. We also evaluate clients for DCS, Family Court, and the Rule 11 process. There is opportunity to assist in the supervision of practicum students.
This site offers individual and group supervision as well as case conferences.
