PCS is a forensic private practice specializing in the assessment and treatment of high risk behaviors, particularly sexual misbehavior. We provide treatment and assessment in Criminal Court, Family Court, Civil Court, and for state agencies such as county probation, Department of Corrections, and Arizona Department of Health Services. Residents have the opportunity to learn to evaluate risk in different contexts and provide group and individual treatment in an outpatient, forensic setting. We value teamwork and consultation among colleagues. We have regular office meetings and team activities to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment. Residents work 40 hours per week which includes 1-2 evenings per week. There is no expectation of work on the weekends.
This site offers individual and group supervision as well as case conferences.
The experience is typically 30% evaluation, 40% therapy, and 20% report writing.
