Levitan & Associates Psychological Services (LAPS) provides a variety of clinical, forensic, consultation, supervision, and training services to the greater Phoenix area. Clinical services include individual, couples, and family psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric clientele. LAPS uses a variety of theoretical orientations and modalities, coupled with various evidence-based interventions including behavior and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), mindfulness based cognitive therapy (MBCT), eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), animal assisted therapy (AAT), and biofeedback. Comprehensive, neuropsychological, and developmental evaluations are provided to assist with diagnostic clarification, treatment planning, academic services, cognitive and disability assessment, and pre surgery clearance. Work hours are normal business hours, with flexibility for evenings and weekends, if requested.
The breakdown on Direct Services Experiences are flexible and dependent upon the resident's interests. Typically, 60% evaluation, 20% report writing, and 20% therapy.
Individual supervision is provided.
