Mountainview Clinical Psychology provides opportunities in a variety of different settings including Dr. Husk’s private practice as well as in her consulting roles with NeuroRehab Carr of Scottsdale and Rehab Without Walls. In the private practice setting, residents will be primarily involved in medical records review, clinical interviews with patients and families, and neuropsychological assessment. Residents will also have opportunities to provide feedback to patients and families regarding the evaluation results and recommendations. Residents interested in providing psychotherapy will have the opportunity as an option, not a requirement. Patients are referred for a wide variety of neurological concerns including adult ADHD, learning disabilities, MS, TBI and concussion, MCI, many different forms of dementia, delirium, and many different mental health conditions.
This site offers individual and group supervision. The Resident's time is divided approximately as follows: 40% evaluation, 40% report writing and records review; 20% didactics.
