- Application materials include:
1. Cover Letter that indicates (a) the focus areas or emphasis area(s) to which you are applying, (b) a brief summary of your professional interests, relevant educational, clinical and research experiences relevant to the specific area(s) of interest, (c) your experience with diversity/multiculturalism, (d) training and career goals, (e) dissertation status, and (f) total number of training hours from your graduate school and your internship. You may also include a section of projected total hours and experiences for the remainder of your internship.

4. Three letters of reference that should be emailed directly to Dr. Clancy by the letter writers and include the following topics: Integration of science and practice, individual and cultural diversity, ethical and legal matters, professional attitudes/values/behaviors, interpersonal and communication skills, intervention, and assessment skills, interprofessional and consultation skills, and your knowledge of the focus area relevant to your application.
5. A letter of support from your internship training director, affirming your successful progress in your internship and anticipated completion date of internship. If your internship training director is also one of the supervisors who will be providing a letter of reference letter for you, one letter will suffice.
6. If you have not completed your dissertation, you will also need to include a letter from your dissertation or program chair that includes a description of your progress toward completion of the doctoral degree and anticipated date.
