Presenting concerns include: neurodevelopmental disorders (ID, ADHD, learning disabilities, autism), brain injury, neurologic disorders, dementias, cerebrovascular disease, and psychiatric comorbidity.
Supervision
Fellows work with their supervisor weekly. Training is individualized and developmental, and is designed to prepare fellows for independent practice. Weekly structured supervision is provided, in addition to case-by-case as-needed discussion. As fellows progress within the year, supervision may become less structured and more similar to consultation. Fellows may have the opportunity to provide training and tiered supervision to psychology practicum students completing a rotation in our clinic.
Didactics and Education
Didactic meetings take place on a bi-weekly basis. These meetings are designed to cover topics to assist fellows in advancing their clinical practice of psychology and neuropsychology. Didactics include: webinars, fact-finding cases, discussion of articles, as well as presentations from clinical supervisors on various topics in psychology/neuropsychology. Fellows will also be required to present on topics of interest throughout the year. Stipends for conference attendance and licensing preparation may be made available, based upon individual needs and approval by the practice.
