This is a unique boutique-like practice with positivity and collegial collaboration and support. We are looking for the right person to join our dynamic team, not someone to simply fill the role. We predominantly see children through young adults needing a neuropsychological evaluation for issues rooted in early development, learning, and mental health (i.e., autism, learning disorders, brain injuries, ADHD/executive functioning, tricky differential diagnoses). It is a private pay practice that does not take insurance. This allows us to spend the time necessary with each client and to collaborate with their other providers. We see clients for an extended period of time 4-10 hours over one to several days. The goal is to understand the client's nuanced presentation and those interventions to best serve them. This takes clinical skills, interpersonal skills, self-monitoring, intuition, strong ethics and a desire for personal balance/well being. We feel honored to serve the families that we work with in the practice and strive to deliver the highest clinical service to them across the board in all our interactions. Residents are expected to work 8 am - 5pm and may on occasion need to work after hours writing reports depending on your efficiency.
Direct Service experiences will involve testing, interviews, and follow ups. This will account for approximately 50% of your time. The rest will be report writing/scoring 40%, and supervision 10%.
This site offers individual and group supervision, as well as case conference.
