Stipend increase! ($64,000) This is a one-year position designed to provide specialized training in the assessment/diagnosis of neurodevelopmental disorders. The Center for Disabilities and Development (CDD) provides a broad array of services to the community including developmental and behavioral pediatrics, nursing, speech-language pathology, occupational and physical therapy, psychology, social work, educational diagnostics, and audiology. The fellow will participate with interdisciplinary teams several times a week in addition to conducting individual assessments (to identify developmental disabilities, academic/learning disabilities, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD; including use of ADOS-2). Additional opportunity for therapeutic interventions is available based upon interest (and may include PCIT, TF-CBT, and parent coaching). Additionally, fellows will have the opportunity to gain additional expertise through the Iowa Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) program.
