The 2025 APPIC Post-Match Vacancy Service is currently CLOSED
Internships may submit vacancy announcements beginning on March 26, 2025 (9:00am ET)
The PMVS will open for students on March 27, 2025 (9:00am ET)
The 2025 APPIC Post-Match Vacancy Service (PMVS) is a process that occurs after the completion of both phases of the APPIC Match, and allows eligible unmatched students to locate vacant internship positions.
It will begin operation for applicants at 9:00am Eastern time on March 27, 2025 (the day after the conclusion of Phase II of the 2025 APPIC Match), at which time the initial list of available positions will be posted.
Training Directors may begin submitting vacancy announcements the day before -- at 9:00am Eastern Time on March 26, 2025.
The PMVS will remain available, with the list of available positions regularly updated as positions fill and new positions become available, through September 30, 2025.
Please note that the use of this service is restricted to eligible internship programs and to students who attend doctoral programs that are eligible to participate. Eligibility information for applicants can be found here, and a list of eligible doctoral programs can be found on the National Matching Services web site (see "Eligible Doctoral Programs").
Positions that are still available from the Match will NOT be automatically listed in the PMVS. Training Directors must submit the required information in order to be listed.
